LIDBA ASSOCIATION

The aim of The Liphook & District Businessmen’s Association [LiDBA] is to be of service to the community, particularly the young and disabled. The Association assists other local charities’ fund raising events as well as raising money for local deserving causes. The LidBA association has been running the charity ride since 1991. They have done an amazing job of the organization and raising funds for the local community which stands at over £1m . I'm sure they will continue to be heavily involved in the running of the event but at the same time I'm sure they deserve a well earned rest ... LIPHOOK CRANKERS

A number of the organisers are members of the social "Liphook Crankers" group. Just a bunch a of like minded cyclist who don their Lycra at any possible opportunity to go and take in the beauty of the local countryside . With a passion for cycling and many of them long standing Liphook residents they stepped in when there was doubt if the ride would continue .
